Writing Gym - Skills Centre

Sessions and online writing retreats designed to maximise productivity for Masters students working on their dissertations and research projects.

The Writing Gym has now paused for the summer – we will be back in the new academic year!

Welcome to the Writing Gym

Are you ready to flex those finger muscles and bulk up your Masters dissertation writing?

Our Writing Gym has been created to help support Level 7 students through the dissertation & final project process by providing a space for you to learn new approaches to writing, share ideas with others, and crucially do some writing!

Each session is 90 minutes and will involve a mix of tuition, goal setting, writing and sharing experience. Two Academic Skills advisors will facilitate each session, but you must come prepared to participate and join a community of your fellow writers. There's no need to attend every session - feel free to attend the sessions that fit your writing progress best.

You should be a Level 7 student to join the Writing Gym sessions.
