Build your writing skills this November

There's lots on this November in the Library's Skills Centre to support your academic writing. Here are our top recommendations if you're working on an assessment this month:

• Check you understand the task and the type of essay you're writing - Choose from Planning and Structuring, Report Writing and Literature Reviews.
   
• Learn about critical writing or develop your work further with an Advanced Critical Writing session.
   
• Don't forget referencing - our Librarians run introductory sessions on APA and OSCOLA referencing weekly.
   
• Need to add those finishing touches? Check our Editing and Proofreading guide, or for longer documents, attend a Formatting Longer Documents session.
   
• Get feedback before you submit. Submit your work to Studiosity for a feedback report on your style, structure, language and grammar. All students get free access to Studiosity and can submit eight drafts per academic year.
