We are very excited to announce that  the exhibition will be officially launched with a series of comic related talks from SHU academics teaching and researching in the area of comics.

Plus there will be light refreshments including sandwiches on arrival at 1pm, the opportunity for an exhibition tour and one more event on the day to be listed asap!

The talks are listed here:

  • 1.00 - 1.15 Welcome to Meanwhile, Back in the Library launch event with Nuala Devlin, Director of Library and Student Support Services
  • 1.15 - 1.45 What is a comic and why should I care? with Dr Hattie Earle - Lecturer in English and Creative Writing - Department of Humanities

  • There will be a break here for refreshments including cake.
