Over the summer, we have a number of ways in which we can support our Level 7 students in the process of completing their final pieces of work.

Studiosity

We have 2 services available from Studiosity.  Each academic year SHU students can use the service up to 8 times. This service is highly popular with postgraduate students. Further information available here.

• Writing Feedback
  • Students upload an extract of their work to Studiosity (accessed via Blackboard) and will receive a personalised written feedback report within 24 hours.  This service is available 24/7
• Connect Live
  • Students can chat live with an academic skills specialist who can offer a broad range of support.  This service is available 24/7.

Appointments

We also have 30 minute one to one Appointments bookable via Unihub.  Current dates and times are available on our What's On guide.

Drop-ins

For quick questions about your dissertation, join our online drop-in every Wednesday 4-6pm. No need to book, just join the waiting room and you can speak 1-1 to an Academic Skills Adviser, Librarian, Digital Skills expert or Statistics tutor.
