The most common problems in group work are a lack of structure and a lack of cooperation between group members. To help you address these problems and succeed in your next group work project we have created this dedicated e-module module which provides practical tips and downloadable tools to help you get off to the right start, manage the work and communicate effectively as a group.

The Effective Group Work module should take 30-45 minutes to complete and you can return to any part of the module anytime you like.

How to enrol

Self-enrol onto this module via Blackboard by following these simple steps:

  1. Log into Blackboard
  2. Click on this link - Skills Hub enrolment page
  3. Click Submit
  4. Click Ok

Once you are on the module go to the Effective Group Work Module page and click on the title to get started.

You can return to the module at any time by finding "Skills Hub" in your list of Organisations on Blackboard.

If you have any issues accessing the module, please email us at skillscentre@shu.ac.uk
