Online drop in sessions are for Maths are available at the following times and locations:

Wednesdays 3-4pm in the Maths support virtual room
Wednesdays 4-5pm in the Skills Centre virtual room

About the team:

Academic Skills 

Advisers available to help you improve your academic writing skills – to help you understand how to interpret assignment titles and structure your work.  They will be able to help you plan your project and manage your time, alongside ensuring you are able to think and write critically. 

Library & Information Skills 

Librarians will be on hand to help you with searching specialist databases, finding relevant information and help you with your referencing style and techniques. 

Maths and Stats

The Maths and Stats team can provide support to students from any course – helping you to develop and gain confidence in your numerical skills, and helping you choose and use the best tools for your studies and research.

Digital Skills

The Digital Team will help you get the best from our digital tools – such as how to format a long document in Word, how to automatically produce a table of contents, and how to organise your data in a spreadsheet. 

Money skills sessions (1-1)

Build your money and budgeting skills with support from the Student Funding team.

You can complete a Money Skills Assessment tool on UniHub, which is a brief series of questions to help assess your current skills. Once you have completed the form and clicked the submit button, you will receive an email with some suggested next steps.
