24 hour library learning spaces

Introduction

We have two libraries, Adsetts Library on City campus and Collegiate Library on Collegiate campus. The libraries are the only spaces on campus that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide you with flexible learning spaces to support your independent study in a way that suits you.

Your library provides access to over 2450 learning spaces in a range of study areas. These range from spaces where you can work as a group, spaces where you can work alongside a friend and spaces where you can work independently. This means that you can choose the best space for you depending on how you need to work. Each area has a mixture of bookable and non-bookable learning spaces to choose from, enabling you to plan your study time in advance, visit flexibly or drop-in between classes.

To protect the safety and quality of your library learning spaces you will need to remember to bring your Sheffield Hallam student/staff card with you each time you visit the library, as you will need this to scan on the library access gates. If you need to order your Sheffield Hallam student or staff card, please see the information here.

If you are not currently a Sheffield Hallam student or Sheffield Hallam member of staff and want to use our library spaces, please see here for further guidance.
