Colour Scheme

Sheffield Hallam University has a strong and recognizable brand. The SHU brand is designed to be distinctive, memorable, and engaging, and it encompasses a range of visual elements that help to convey the university's identity and personality.

LibGuides uses an off-white background to reduce contrast for accessibility. When creating a background for images use colour code #FAFAFA or a transparent background.

Typography

The font used for SHU branding is Arial.

Headings are bold and larger in size and should be displayed like the below example.

Heading = Heading 3

Subheading = Heading 4

Bold title  = Heading 5

Bold = Heading 6

Normal =  Standard paragraph
