Contacting authors and using Scholarly Communication Networks

Many authors are only too willing to share full text copies of their articles, what used to be called ‘offprints’, and most publishers make this easy for them. The email address of the corresponding author is usually available on most publisher platforms and many authors also participate in Scholarly Communication Networks, where they often post full text without the need for a specific request.
