Reading Lists Online - guide for academic staff

Welcome to the Reading List Online guide for academic staff

How the Library supports your blended teaching and learning offer in 2021-2022

To support your delivery of high quality blended teaching and learning offer for the new academic year 2021-2022 your Library is providing new guidance and updated services to ensure your students can discover and access the reading you direct them to. In doing this, your Library is continuing to work to the principle that students can access directed reading free at the point of need.

Access to print collections

The print collections at Adsetts and Collegiate Library are now available for users to browse.  Self-service borrowing is also now available,  You can find more information on our Borrowing from the Library page.

Adding more online resources to Reading Lists

As of June 2020, less than 60% of the resources included in all online reading lists was available electronically to students. To provide students with access to reading, your Library is working to enhance the range of electronic resources available, including e-textbooks. Colleagues responsible for module reading lists are requested to review their lists according to the proposed threshold standards for Autumn 2021 and the good practice outlined in this guide.

Your Library is here to support you to do this.

RLO Rollover

The RLO roll-over of list from 2021/2022 to 2022/2023 is now completed.

Published lists for Academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 have now been archived.

If you are responsible for a list/module, please check and archive/delete any lists which are not running 2022/2023.
