Welcome to the Special Collection here you can find the rare and unique and the more fragile or older items of library stock.

Within the collection, we have a range of material from books, films, pamphlets, magazines, photographs and artwork covering a wide range of topics from the history of the Sheffield School of Art, memorabilia from the Festival of Britain through to the records of the Independent Film, Video and Photography Association (IFVPA).

We are happy to welcome visitors to the Collection. We are open to students, staff, external researchers and members of the public. All material in the collection is for reference use only.
