Web of Science is a multi-disciplinary research database including Web of Science Core Collection; Journal Citation Reports; BioSIS and many others.  It covers much more than science, including materials on arts and humanities. This platform provides a unique way of searching, including the ability to perform an 'All Databases' search on the content of multiple searchable products. Come along to this workshop to find out more about this essential research tool - how it can support your research and that of your studies.

Friday 16th July 12-12.30pm : Tools for Open Research

Open Research means being open and transparent at all stages in research. In this session we'll look at tools for supporting openness in sharing work- Elements for recording details of academic work,  the university archives for publications (SHURA) and data (SHURDA,)  and Open Journal Systems (OJS) for creating open access journals. This session is introductory, but could also serve as a useful refresher.
