Maths Help

Skills Centre Logo

If you need any help with the mathematical content of your course,maths drop-ins are held during term time in the libraries: there is no need to book,  just turn up. They are held in:

  • Adsetts Library, The Skills Centre
    11.30am-1.30pm Monday to Friday
    6.00pm- 8.00pm Wednesday

You can also get help with statistics at the statistics drop-ins:

  • Adsetts Library, The Skills Centre
    1.30pm-3.30pm Thursdays
  • Collegiate Library
    12pm-2pm Tuesdays

Bookable statistics sessions are also available, but you will need to book an appointment in advance via Unihub:

Meanwhile, Back in the Library...

This academic year, the library has put on the exhibition Meanwhile, Back in the Library..., celebrating the role of comics and graphic novels in the academic library. Here's a small selection of relevant titles: but you can find out more about the exhibition, the comics we have in stock, and how comics can be used in learning from the exhibition website.

Happy Christmas? Student support over Christmas from Student Wellbeing

For some people, the Christmas season can be a time when they feel unhappy and alone.

If you need advice or someone to talk to, Student Wellbeing have created a two page leaflet covering a range of services that you can contact including Big White Wall.
