Before you get started, you must have either a Regular or Admin user account in your LibGuides system. Editor users cannot create their own guides but can edit existing guides to which they've been given permission to edit.

Friendly URL

Friendly URLs are crucial as they make web addresses more human-readable and easier to remember. They enhance user experience by providing descriptive links that give an idea of the page content before clicking.

Search engines tend to favour friendly URLs as they are more understandable and relevant to the page's content, potentially improving a website's ranking in search results.

These URLs also contribute to better accessibility, especially for individuals who rely on screen readers or those manually typing in web addresses.
